If you're reading this site, you probably know that I carry my camera with me everywhere and use it to take pictures of stuff I want to remember. Sometimes I take selfies of myself so that later I'll remember how I was feeling about something. Usually, I'm pretty good about remembering what my expressions are about this. This one had me stumped so I went back into my diary and looked up the entry for this date. The only thing written is "Didn't smoke any weed." Hahaha.
A really not-so-cool thing is the cone-shaped metal sensor that leaves a divit in your forehead! (The new headset is much more improved...and cheaper).
On Thursday evening, I finally managed to get the NeuroSky headset I ordered working with my computer! The headset is a BCI (brain-computer interface) that measures your brainwaves in real-time and sends a stream of data wirelessly to your computer where it can be used to interact with computer programs.
Here's a photo of my playing one of the simple games that comes installed where you try to make barrels on the screen explode by focusing your attention on them.
On Tuesday morning, we took a day off from surfing (to rest our sore bodies and bruised bellies!) and took a ride into the nearby city of Leon for the day.
We landed right at 10pm, we had a text message from Ty telling us the address of a Halloween party he was at. He told us he had costumes waiting for us!
While waiting in line for security, we made friends with a woman who was in line with us who ended up sitting next to me on our flight! Yay, airplane strangers!
