I feel like Maddy is really emblematic of the party's vibes. Happy 2016, everyone! Good night! Afterwards, we went back to my apartment to cheeeeeil. Sarah came to say hi on her way to a real party. It was a nice night so we walked towards my place looking for a restaurant that would take a last-minute party of three. We lucked out at a Mexican place on Bowery. And then we went and got our tootsies RUBBED together in a room. Had an awesomely low-key New Year's Eve in Chinatown with Jared and Gurj! I showed Jared my latest batch of massage gadgets. This guy is great. Sarah put some tunes on. On Saturday morning, we checked out and said farewell before splitting up into separate cars for our drive home. Here's to a brand new year - love you all lots! ;) ...and spent the evening doing puzzles and having a mellow evening together. Happy 2016! On the very first morning of 2014, Piper & Edie helped keep Ellen cozy while she waited for... A little after 2am we decided to hit the streets and do some outdoor exploring. Party Omen! We cheered them on. The neighbors across the street even treated us to a sort-of-synchronized sparkler dance! A little before midnight we went up onto the roof to bring in the new year with the rest of the city! ...to bring in the new year at Ellen & Hans' apartment! Back at home, I fell asleep on the couch, leg-cuddling my 10lb, speckle-head and woke up at 7am to head to my real bed. Here's to 2013! Happy New Year! Me and a couch full of New Year's babes.
