a person in 5,311 photos me Back at home, we celebrated with Nutty Buddies... The taping went super quick and we were finished and on our way out the door before 1:30! (We DVRed the whole next season of the series, but never saw the episode with us on it! So we're not even sure if it ever even aired! Anyone ever see it?) They were filming three different episodes so there were nine couples in total. Here's us after we got separated with the other two couples we'd be appearing on an episode with! Thursday morning. 7:30am cab ride cross town... ...and here's us being newly married. After we'd gotten the paperwork completed, they took us aside to take some quick photos for the show. It's hard to get the grimple to sit still and cooperate when she's wriggling to lick your faces. Wednesday was our first wedding anniversary! We celebrated with a family portrait. ...our one-year wedding anniversary! I love you, good one! Thanks for spending my life with me! (I'll try to not take so many photos of you while you're eating!) That afternoon, we borrowed my mom's car and drove across southern Jersey so Meredith could attend her friend Mandy's bridal shower! ...compared to the kids' table! With Tia Tequila? Back on the road... ...FOR ADVENTURE! I'm the least flexible person in the world. I have to stretch almost every day or my muscles get all short and knotty and sore. Before agreeing to head out to eat, I made Grant endure my weird morning stretching routine. Here's the move I call "old man smoking in Chinatown squat." Oh, no big deal just having morning coffee on the little back porch. Saddest reason for having extra-elbow room ever. Solo trip to Vancouver ROUND 2! After arriving at the airport, Meredith checked in at the ticket counter and the person at the counter pointed out that her passport had expired. Later that evening, we all met back up to do a late-night walk over the Brooklyn Bridge. Wonderful! Birthday buddies! En route I ran into Ellen on the street! Taking the houndine for a walk later that evening. ...that's when you know you're almost home! The house my parent's bought is in a retirement community that has an age-minimum. Because Meredith and aren't residents, we need to be accompanied by one of my parents if we'd like to visit the pool. Couch napping.
