I met up with Meredith and she gave me... Finished up the night relaxing on the couch with my buddy. That feeling when you're driving home and you can still feel the waves moving under you. I love my Edie shirt so much. XO! But after a jumpstart-recharge, we made it all the way out to Long Beach before 12:30! I was sitting on the blanket, and a giant bug fell out of the tree above me and landed right in front of me. He doesn't look all that terrifying / interesting from this angle... The water was totally flat all day, so we did lotsa paddling around. We rented two longboards at Boarders... ...and met up with Cat & Siege for another day at the beach! Later that night I met up with Deb and Eric to talk about ideas for web-apps! But this one's also pretty good. Haha. This one's my fave! Well, we're not exactly jumping in this photo, but I kind of like it. I put my camera on the window on auto timer and we tried to time a group jump shot. Attempt #1. FAIL. ...time to head back! On Thursday morning, Mer and I took the L train out to Brooklyn... The two-hour drive back flew by. Haha. Gurj and I peeped ourselves some new roadside headgear while we were gassing up. Falling out of the sky! On Monday we got an early start to do some sightseeing! A little over an hour later we were fresh as daisies... Post-show Jodeci relaxation. Nice little Saturday. I got some kind of crazy out-of-control French Toast! We woke up to a drizzly Saturday afternoon and headed down to the Mission... And then a few blocks further, 166 Sanchez where I ended up living for about five months! Five and a half sleepy hours later... ...and took the bus down to south Jersey to visit my folks for Memorial Day weekend. Congrats, other Meredith! Let's hear it for internet strangers!
