Meredith was pretty excited about her fruit-covered pancakes. They had a big spread of free breakfast food... Haha. The vegetarian option was pretty decent. So much food. I did not get to join the clean plate club. Later that afternoon, Sarah came over! We ordered food... Waffle with jam? Yes! Spicy tofu! ...an awesome Japanese dinner. We had lunch before heading back up. Veggie burger with grilled onions, I love you! ...delicious wood-fired pizzas. Mmmmm. French toast. Whoa. ...get some ridiculous brunch. The place Grant took me to was amazing. Eggs Florentine. JFK International pizza dinner. Meredith made strombolis for dinner! Yes! I got a pizza with eggs on it! Saturday was a beautiful spring day so we walked around the neighborhood and found a brand new place on 4th Street to get brunch. Mmmmmm. Was down in NC to get feedback from the Charlotte office on a new piece of software called Ad Copy Library that we were beta testing. Jeff and I went to IHOP for lunch! After the planetarium, we went back to our apartment and got a feast delivered and hung out. Wooo! The beet risotto I ordered arrived with actual GOLD shavings sprinkled on top. Chuck's fish was served on a fancy, fish-shaped plate! Excuse me, sir. I don't believe that my salad is stacked tall enough. SEND IT BACK. Goat cheese foam? Fancy! Fancy appetizers like this always make me feel like I'm having dinner in a Tim Burton movie. Satisfied brunch customer. SO MANY DISHES! Taco balls (!!!) and fake-meat-filled empanadas! Falafel, tofu skewers with tomato and green beans, corn congee, salad, sauces... Snack table! I got an egg, cheese and homefries on a hardroll. Mmmmmmm! Ordered in from Curly's. On Friday night Meredith made delicious biscuit breakfast sandwiches for Dinner ! Mmmmm. Quantum Leap's veggie club sandwich is ridiculously delicious. On the walk home we stopped at a Philippino grocery store that had recently opened and Meredith picked out a bunch of weird canned foods... Sunday was soooo cold. I remember bundling up and hiding my face all the way to meet up with this guy for a mega-brunch after a LATE night. Pancakes, RESTORE ME. Dig in! So colorful! I had a bunch of miraculin tablets left over and so we busted out all sorts of weird sour and salty food to try tasting after letting the miraculin pills dissolve on our tongues! Chocolate, peanuts, lemons, limes, oranges, grapefruits, bleu cheese and pickles! ...ordering from Curly's...
