Was down in NC to get feedback from the Charlotte office on a new piece of software called Ad Copy Library that we were beta testing. Jeff and I went to IHOP for lunch!
Sunday was soooo cold. I remember bundling up and hiding my face all the way to meet up with this guy for a mega-brunch after a LATE night. Pancakes, RESTORE ME.
I had a bunch of miraculin tablets left over and so we busted out all sorts of weird sour and salty food to try tasting after letting the miraculin pills dissolve on our tongues! Chocolate, peanuts, lemons, limes, oranges, grapefruits, bleu cheese and pickles!
By the time I landed, got to my hotel and checked in, I felt like I was coming down with a nasty cold. I ordered a room service pizza and plate of fries (only vegetarian items on the menu)...
So I went back to my room and decided to go with room service. The only items on the menu without meat were the salad and mozzarella sticks! (Oh, and I also got a brownie with ice cream)
We were also there because Meredith parents were throwing us a big "congratulations on getting married" party (that was really just the wedding reception Meredith's mom didn't get to have because we got married somewhere else. (Remember when I made fun of Frank when his mom did the same thing?)
Oh yes, we did. (The funny things about waiting two years until you post photos is that you're usually in a totally different place. We're getting ready to celebrate our two year anniversary and I can't believe hard were partying and how much shitty pizza we were eating! Haha)
After a nice relaxing post-beach shower and nap, Geordon and Leigh invited us to a party they were doing at the Tribecca Grand. Check out Geordon double-lapping (that's double-fisting for plates) with two plates of fish skewers. Hahah
