Laughing about the fact that we were carrying 3 electronic devices between the 2 of us; all that featured pictures of our stupid little dog. Haha. Later that night we emailed Leigh the picture of the dogs we met and she texted us this photos of the hounds back in NYC. Haha. And a card of a dachshund that Leigh PAINTED (with spots and one blue eye!) to look just like Maddy. ...a Flip video camera with a PICTURE of Maddy on the back of it. Hahaha. Amazing! ...ice cream maker! FEETS ARE COLD! PICK UP NOW? Maddy HATE a winter wonderland. TIny dog legs mean very little belly-clearance in the snow! Hahaha. Oh man, photos of these two together make me laugh every single time. On Saturday afternoon, Matt and Biggy came over for a hang. Wiener buds at the dog park in matching blue sweatshirts! Happy November 2009! Stubby legs. She likes to watch stuff go past. Maddy doesn't like being in a bag, so he have to take her out. ...with our tiny dog stuffed into a bag (she HATE a bag!)... Chuck doesn't mind dog kisses. Bullseye! For dinner we went to Meredith's parent's house. Here's Mer's grandmother and mother with Maddy. Thanksgiving family portrait! Dog walk. On Sunday I hung out with Dr. Jenkins... ...Maddy aren't sure what to make of each other. Maddy and Biggy! On Saturday we met up with Matt and his dog at the dog park. Hey! Bologna tongue. I love the faces Maddy makes when she's chewing food. Our dog has silly, pointy feet and neck moles. LURKdorable! Holy shit, this was an epic day. Later that night Pauly came over for Family Night and he showed up with CINNAMON ROLLS. Later that afternoon, I came back to the apartment and Meredith made... Maddy surrounded in floral fall splendor. Please return to your seat, sir. Halloween Family Portrait! It took forever to get a photo of Maddy looking towards the camera because in between shots... ...she couldn't resist licking my delicious make-uppy face. Maddy had a matching skeleton outfit. Awwwww, skull guy and skeledog! And, if I remember correctly, I think Ellen was an "eighties glam metal slut?" Such a proud little Dingo! Maddy in her homemade shirt. Dogs, in general, aren't big fans of rock shows. Maddy doesn't have much fur so it doesn't take much cold to make her shiver uncontrollably. Meredith was stoked to have an excuse to begin experimenting with sewing dog clothes. All suited up! On Sunday a whole bunch of people came over for Family Night. Pauly, Amanda, Kaitie... Wake up! It's time to take me for a walk! We're trying to train Maddy to stay out of the bed but it's really difficult because our bed is really low to the ground (and because she is really adorable). So ended our first month as married folks! We were dogsitting Edie so there were plenty of doogs to go around. On Saturday afternoon my parents came into town to see our honeymoon photos and have dinner. Meredith took this picture of me taking a pre-Family Night disco nap with my favorite napping buddy. Wiener dogs make excellent neck scarves. On Saturday we had a nice homemade meal... Mer was finally out of bed and recovered by Friday! Awwww, Tiny Buddy. I came home and found this one asleep in her new dog bed! Leigh explained this to us and then demonstrated. "See? Stackable hounds!" Hahaha. Leigh's building has a lot of stairs. The dogs can climb UP stairs, but they have trouble descending steep stairs and need to be carried down them (because of their midgety legs and long wienery bodies). Turns out that the easiest way to get both dogs downstairs for a walk is TO STACK THEM! ...to pick up Maddy! Leigh and Scott had graciously agreed to watch our hound for us while we were away getting married on on our honeymoon ! Meredith went out to walk Maddy and I went to get the laundry. Whenever we get split up and then reunited, Maddy FREAKS out. YOU'RE HERE! Later that night Lisa and Pauly came over. Not chewing wire or shoe. Just bone. ...Maddy is an excellent lap dog. Haha. If you are enjoying a snack... Dog park. Thai feast for lunch! Dogs couch-battling and honking at each other. Awww. Look at her little bologna tongue! I was saying goodbye to Maddy because I had to attend an off-site for Yodle up in West Chester super-early the next morning. Ellen invited me to crash at her place because she lives right near there! Yay! Walking home in the afternoon I ran into Meredith and Maddy! Family portrait! Haha. Afterwards, they came back to our apt to say hi to the critter. It's also hard to take pictures of these two sleeping. Hahaha. It's really hard to train your dascshund to stay out of the bed when your bed is 5" off the ground. Doug getting ready to head up to Boston to stay with his sister for a while. I spent Sunday recovering from my 33rd birthday party . Oof. Meredith and Maddy getting ready to give me my presents!
