Goodbye, Roomie! ...ice cream maker! Leigh explained this to us and then demonstrated. "See? Stackable hounds!" Hahaha. Leigh's building has a lot of stairs. The dogs can climb UP stairs, but they have trouble descending steep stairs and need to be carried down them (because of their midgety legs and long wienery bodies). Turns out that the easiest way to get both dogs downstairs for a walk is TO STACK THEM! Kiss the hound gooodbye. Maddy was forced against her will to join the PARTY POSSE. Hahah. Later that night Lisa and Pauly came over for family night. Out comes the tongue. Going in for the kiss. Saturday night we stayed in and spend most of the night drying off Maddy's teeth and pulling up her lips so her teeth are bared. Later that night, Leigh and I took turns playing DOGGIE DENTIST and wiggling all of Maddy's loose baby teeth! Wiener dogs on the move. ...to attend Daschund Day in Washington Square Park ! So much awesome in my living room it's unbelievable. Just a basic Wednesday night hang. You literally can't have a bad day with these guys around. Three clean noses! ...and then puppy batteries would run out. Look at how her head is hanging totally limp! Hahaha. Dead tired! Maddy would go at it fiercely until her puppy batteries ran out. Which happened a lot. Ten hours later and they're still at it. Although, they moved the BATTLE ARENA to the much larger couch. Hahaha. This photo makes me laugh out loud. (I also like how there's a rat in the background.) Back at the apartment later that night, we snuggled with dogs... Look at how Maddy used to fall asleep! All balled up light a little speckled hedgehog. I love how Maddy looks like she's sitting in a little hand-seat. Hahaha. Puppy kisses are the best. Leigh was out of traveling when we got Maddy and we'd been sending her puppy pics while she was on the road. When she got back in town three weeks later, she was excited to meet the little bean.
