Thanks, Leigh! ...ice cream maker! Leigh had just gotten back in town from a trip to Turkey and came over on Wednesday so we could swap gifts before we left for Florida later that evening. It's an... Bearing riches (and cow vertebrae?) from magical lands afar. Hahaha. Crumb teeth is a friend of mine. After, I went over to Leigh's house and she whipped out scissors and turned an old blanket... In addition to pulling dance moves like this all night, they also shot tons of footage and interviews of the party... Super big thanks to Sarah and Leigh for playing wonderful music all night! Leigh's building has a lot of stairs. The dogs can climb UP stairs, but they have trouble descending steep stairs and need to be carried down them (because of their midgety legs and long wienery bodies). Turns out that the easiest way to get both dogs downstairs for a walk is TO STACK THEM! A decorative fruit bowl/fashion helmet. A bottle of pink wine. Mmmmm...mmmm! A foreign, never-seen-before Pringles Flavor. Hahah. The souvenir Leigh was most excited about? We brought back a variety of "thank you" gifts including exotic Balinese incense! Oooooh! All this by 11:30pm. I remember getting really, really drunk there. Oof. Leigh and Ilirjana After the show we hopped into a cab and headed over to... Hahah. On Thursday night Leigh busted out the documentary I'd gotten for her a few weeks earlier for her birthday... Ooooh, Edie in trouble! Whenever Edie's been REALLY bad, she gets the ultimate punishment: picked up in her skin suit! Somehow, the chair backwards looked like some weird pregnancy trainer. After the movie I met up with Leigh. She was carrying a chair into the living room and totally got stuck in the doorway, Three-Stooges-Style! Haha. Haha. Leigh, Lisa, Pauly and Mer. Meredith and Leigh. A little after 11pm, we all met back up and hopped on the L train out to Williamsburg... A little after 5pm, we decided to pack it in (wanted to make sure I had time for a nap before my birthday party!). ONE FOOT! Haha. Leigh and Geordon came out to meet us. Relaxing. Went down to the dock to watch the sunset. Haha. Time to eat! We'd worked up a big appetite, so around 7:30... Group shot. Geordon & Leigh. Geordon's form was impressive. Pigtail blindfold. After dinner we headed over to Lit. Karen! Me, Sophia and Leigh. Leigh was out of town for her official birthday so when she got back into town we went out for a birthday dinner! Make a wish! Later that night I went to somewhere in the meatpacking district with Leigh and Scott. Leigh's friend Sebastian was in town from Miami DJing some party. Time to go. Haha. Blue velvet and everything. We went upstairs and found a tiny mirrored balcony booth. Leigh ability to dance in those shoes is almost impressive as my Jodeci coldlamp.
