On my way out, I ran into some little kids doing late night (12:30am!) trick or treating with their mom and they liked my make up so we stopped and took photos together. Zombie Ballerina!
Then I got busy whipping together my own last-minute Halloween costume! I decided to make use of the awesome Cobra Kai t-shirt (sent to me courtesy of 80sTees.com) and dress up as Sweep the Leg Johnny! I grabbed one of Meredith's eyeliners (sorry!) and got to work!
Creative costumes are great and all, but in my opinion, the best thing you can do for a work Halloween costume is to dress up as one of your co-workers! Check out Christine, who came in dressed up as Ian! She gets awarded some pretty serious "I have big balls" bonus points because Ian was her boss!
Wednesday was OFFICIALLY Halloween and it was my team's turn to help get the office ready for the Community Connect Halloween Costume contest! Around 3:30, we called off for the day and got to work turning the common area into a spooky party area.
As it got closer to Edie's time to walk in the parade, we went over to the pen to watch some of the other dogs walk. I like how the owner here decided to wear her hair up...you know, just to make it easier to tell them apart.
This guy had a dog dressed up like Elvis. Just in case the dog was already TOTALLY humiliated enough, the guy insisted on dragging him around a little stage built on a wagon...
On the way back from Siege's, I decided to swing by Eva's Halloween party (Meredith opted for bed)! Jenny Penny was there showing off that she'd decided to actually tone it down for Halloween by dressing like Amy Winehouse.
Aileen's wearing a white, turtleneck knit-sweater, tights, a huge silver cross necklace and a Wii hat - and for the life of me, I can't figure out what the heck her costume is! Anyone want to venture a guess?
..."Somebody who just had a REALLY SERIOUS aneurysm!" (Worst Halloween costume EVER, I know!) But we told people that they should come in a costume and I at least had to pretend like I put in some effort after asking everyone else to dress up!)
And then a whole crew of people that I had seen on Saturday night who were out again this time in different costumes! Ben Cho (as Scary Bunny?), Geordon (as Adam Ant?), the Frida Kahlo guy (this time as a guy in a top hat?) And another girl I didn't know (dressed up as Freddy Kreuger meets Edward Scissorhands???).
She was dressed up as "Girl Who Got Stood Up By Her Prom Date." Hahaha. I convinced her to get a drink with me and tried to convince her to give me a second chance.
She ended up accidentally crashing into some drunk girl, and the drunk girl's girlfriend tried to start a fight with the Tins. Tins ended up getting into a little fisticuffs and ended up breaking her index finger! Hahahah. Look at her swollen sausage finger!
Monday night was Halloween proper, but I was sorta burned out from the weekend so I decided to just go to a party that was local in my neighborhood. I ran into Natascha and her friend dressed up as old school hip-hoppers.
I figured that Greg would've joined in with Leigh and Geo and stuck with the Moulin Rouge theme, but he opted to dress like that creepy Peter Pan guy instead! Hahaha. (And Alexis was dressed up as Donatella Versace!!! Holy, Bonersville! Hahaha).
Later that night I went to a party down in Chinatown (right on the block where I used to live!) and met up with Fatty (dressed up as "Tourist Visiting New York"), Amanda (dressed up as Harajuku girl?) and...
