As we pushed through the masses of people cluttering the sidewalk, I couldn't help but stop and admire... Speaking of epic, later on that night I met up with Mandy and Lawrence who were dressed up as WHAM ! HAHAHAH. Let's not forget the bronze sheen and perfectly-penciled chinstrap. Man, this photo simultaneously makes me laugh and shiver. Halloween was on a Friday and that kind of sucks because then EVERYONE comes into town and the streets get a little messy. I was moseying down 2nd Ave on my way to a party and I randomly ran into Josh and Jenny. A full two years before the Jersey Shore debuted on MTV Josh absolutely murdered with his douchebag costume. (Check him doing the shocker and everything!). Jenny was the Wicked Witch of the West. Man, I can't stop looking at Josh's outfit. Ok, and that killer pout. Genius. At the office a bunch of people dressed up - but all costumes took a backseat to Aziza totally SLAYING Thiller-era MJ. So perfect. Don't even get me started on the awesome homemade jetpack. Space dog won first prize at the parade. (Which was probably well-deserved because it can't be easy to train your dog to be cool walking around with a big plastic bowl around on his head). A hat's bad, Edie, but at least it's not an Elvis wig. On Sunday afternoon I walked down to Tompkins Square Park to see the annual dog costume parade. A-dor-a-ble. Edie's expression in this photo is the dog equivalent of when Ralphie's mom makes him put the bunny suit on in A Christmas Story . So good. Edie was there wearing the Crayola Wiener Crayon outfit that Meredith Leigh made. (Sorry, Leigh! I forgot!) Then when we got off the subway we passed these creepy Barack-masked mannequins on a Broadway storefront display. So unsettling. Some of the finished specimens! Amanda makes a deposit in the seed bowl. On Saturday evening, we headed over to Siege and KT's apartment for a jackolantern carving party! (Just like the previous year !) Amanda painted her pumpkin black and carved LIPS!
