Some basic internet sleuthing revealed this is a movie called My Dead Boyfriend , to be released later this year (2016). On the walk home through the park, I had to stop and wait for them to finish filming a scene... It was really great. After the cake was cut, everyone went into the planetarium room and we watched a video about how Gurj & Jared got together projected onto the ceiling! On fire in the iris of an eye. We had a Thai feast for dinner and watched From Russia, With Love Spent the evening reading a few internet deconstructions of Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut and then watched it for the first time. Follow the rainbow. (That painting hanging on the left is by Kubrick's wife and appears in multiple scenes) I spent Sunday evening watching a documentary Davo sent me about a Dutch journalist interviewing Iggy Pop as he walks the interviewer around my neighborhood in 1993. Finished the evening with a late night showing of Mud at the Angelica. Caught some funny references to other Shakespeare works in the background. Like this ad for Prospero brand Whiskey.
