My grandfather, Hank Battjer, with his father Henry and grandfather Diedrich. I'm guessing this was taken after Hank had enlisted as a pilot but before he left for the Pacific.

Speaking of family resemblances, Ann & Walt have a few older photographs from my dad's side of the family hanging on the wall. I remember laughing so hard when I took this photo because if you look closely, the woman sitting on the man's lap looks like my dad in a bonnet! Haha.

I spent the day gorging myself on said holiday cookies and working on a new CSS template for this site!

I spotted a photo comp of Dunmore, PA (where John grew up) hanging on the wall while wandering around that John used as the study for a painting he did that hangs in the living room (that I love dearly).

Sarah proudly showing off the BLING BLING circus portrait poster she romerced Charles into posing for. (BTW, Romerce = portmanteau of "romance + coerce"!)

We even managed to get them to hold a photo of them matching the first time!

Baudrillard, Precession of Simulacra.

I took this photo of an old timey photo at Leigh and Scott's apartment because the guy sitting in the chair smiling looks like Meredith's cousin Hank!
