Later that afternoon, the seven of us loaded ourselves into the family van we'd rented for the weekend... Pretty wonderful way to spend a Saturday morning. Meredith explored the yard... On the subway ride home Gurj and Christina were so tired that their leeetle eyes kept closing and I kept trying to take sneaky pics of them dozing off... This makes me so happy. Action shot. Tuesday night a bar around the corner from our place was having a party to show the premiere of a short-lived MTV reality show that Gurj appeared on. Here she is at our door all excited and nervous! Eeeeek! They had just recently opened and hadn't gotten their permit to sell alcohol yet. Which explained why were the only people in the place. Haha. On Monday night I went to meet Gurj and Fran, who was in town from London, for a few karaoke jams on Orchard. Happy birthday, Gurj! Gurj got her geek on and practiced flying my tiny helicopter. Careful! If you fly it long enough, you get your virginity back! I wish I had video Gurj flying this guy around. The rotor wash was blowing her hair around like a music video. Food coma recovery back at our apartment. Old time barber chair! Afterwards, we went next door to The Smith for a big brunch! Awesome. After the planetarium, we went back to our apartment and got a feast delivered and hung out. Wooo! Satisfied fans of science and lasers. Gurj.
