January Sunday morning. Gurj and Ellen split a cab back to our place. All settled in for the midnight showing of Pee Wee's Big Adventure! Treat fan! All bundled up and ready to head out into the cold... Later that night Gurj, Ellen, Amanda... ...and Jen met us there! We picked up Matt on Ave A... Ellen and Gurj slept over on Sunday night because we all had Monday off! Puppet off. GUESS MY CHEESE SCULPTURE! Once everyone had gotten a few drinks... Tyson is pretty much my favorite decorator. Chili pots on the stove! ...we went over to the West Village... On Sunday afternoon Ellen and Gurj came over... ..for game night at Siege and Katie's! Later that evening, we went out to Brooklyn... After we got back from our New Year's Eve trip down in Florida , Gurj came over on Wednesday night for a hang. ...so we walked back to the East Village together and met up with Meredith for some middle eastern brunch! Supporting Team Hart so hard. Haha. Sarah and Gurj lent vociferous support as Ellen ran long into the distance. Sarah made it up with time to spare! Matt, Craig, Mer and Ellen. Later that evening, we went out to visit Gurj and Jared in Queens and hand-painted signs to cheer Ellen on in during the marathon tomorrow! Making musik, I does it! Later that evening, Gurj came over and we played with a bunch of Brian Eno-designed music-making apps on the iPad. Late night I went over to Karen's for a hang. Gurj came over after work on Wednesday so we could watch the new season of Eastbound & Down. All packed up and ready to head home! Thanks again to Jenny for suggesting the trip and organizing the weekend! Mmmmmm! Rather than waste food, Gurj and Jenny took our remaining groceries and busied themselves making some delicious HOBO SANDWICHES . And the second! Haha. Attempt #1! Which led to us ALL trying to time jumping backwards into the air at the exact moment the auto-timer shutter fired. I snapped a quick group photo...
