Ellen was there (but for some reason, I only have pictures she took of me with her dog)! Here's me with Piper (in the only shot where her tongue's NOT sticking out.
...and Leigh (seen here doing her best Coldstare! Icy!) was there with her brand new dappled daschund puppy Edie! Look at her teeny, tiny little weiner body! Go ahead: Awwwwwww!
As "those two" got closer, we realized it was Ellen and Leigh and that we'd just been busted checking out our own friends! Ellen was there with Piper...
Edie (the tiny little puppy) kept bullying Piper. She'd lay in the grass and feign indifference, but then as soon as Piper wandered into "striking range"...
...SHA-POW! She'd leap into action and attack! Eventually, Piper was preemptively laying down and being like "Fuck it. You win. I'm on the ground already so you don't have to knock me over, ok?"
Later that afternoon, Mer and I went to Tompkins Square to relax in the grass and read. We looked up from our books and saw two totally hot chicks crossing the park with tiny dogs. We were like "Whoa, check out those two."
In the entire hour I was there, "Lord" Alfred was in such a state of frenzied puppy activity, that I only managed to snap three decent photos of him (NONE of which convey what a spazz-ball this dog really is). See? Look how calm he looks in this photo!
Here's the photo that the drawing is based on! Piper the puppy bounding across the carpet at Leigh's house and licking her chops with her huge tongue! (How fucking cute is this photo?)
And this one's even better! Leigh opened her mouth again to pretend that she was going to eat Piper's head and Piper put her tiny little puppy-paws right in Leigh's mouth. (Go ahead and say "Awwwww!" out loud. You know you want to).
And speaking of dogshit...the most exciting news of the night was that Ellen (seen here with John) had brought her new puppy, Piper, to Misshapes! Hahaha. Look at her lil' bat ears!
Then Leigh came out to say hi to Piper and kept saying "You're head is so cute and tiny I want to bite it off!" (Look at Piper's expression all like "Yo! WTF?").
I'd been putting it off because although, I love dogs, I pretty much hate most small dogs. But Daisy was the best kind of small dog - she's the kind of small dog that acts all tough and thinks she's a big dog. Nothing's funnier than a fucking teacup-sized Chiuaua that acts like a pit bill and Daisy had me in stitches (check her out using her eentsie-weentsie paw on my hand for extra leverage as she tried to take the toy from me).
Before heading home where I planned on spending the next ten straight hours locked in my room fighting the Covenant aliens (on Legendary skill setting, biatch!) I decided to swing by Mary's house and meet Daisy, her Chiuaua.
On Saturday afternoon I went up to max and relax in the Sheep's Meadow in Central Park with Vin, Grant and the Fatty and we ended up running into Meredith and a few of her friends. This is her friend Sari's brand new puppy, Pumpkin. (Go ahead, say "awwwwwwwwwww." You know you want to.)
After leering around NYU for a while, we decided to head over to the dog park in Washington Sqaure Park. We sat around playing with OPP (other peoples' pets). Then this guy showed up. What started out as a normal "petting session" almost escalated into a totally different kind of "petting session." The guy mounted his dog in reverse and spent a god-honest five whole minutes seductively stroking the animal's hindquarters. It was so creepy. Everyone in the park stopped talking and just watched him.
Once he was sure he had the park's attention (and after he'd ejaculated in his shorts) he went on to give his dog a drink of water by pouring the water into his own mouth and then letting the dog lap his fucking face. He did this like 3 feet from where Fatty and I were sitting, totally showing off for the cam. When he was all finished, he looked over at us and smiled and I turn, held up the camera and took....
I'm so down with O.P.P. (Other Peoples' Pets). If you're out walking your dog and I see you - chances are, you're getting stopped and like it or not, I'm going to spend some time loving your pooch. Here's a picture of me with what had to be the raddest, happiest, silkiest pit bull puppy I've ever had the privilege of accosting on the street.
Look! It's Charlie! (aka "Shitty! The WonderDog"). So the story here is that Tara was super broke so she took a 10-day dogsitting job that she found on Craig's List not remembering that she's going to be in Cancun for the last few days she's agreed to watch him. So I decided to be a good friend and take care of him for her.
He was an Pekingese that had at one time been abused by his previous owners. So at first he was very nervous around me and didn't want to be touched at all (which was fine with me, because to be perfectly honest with you, Charlie's fur smelled like ass).
