Sunny Monday. We were in total awe of the slowly-deepening colors... I always enjoy looking at the pictures I take and trying to see what I was seeing. Like a Roman nightmare. The scaffolding fit the shape of the building even at the top! My brother lives just a short walk from the White House. Neato to be able to just walk right up to it (sort of). Later on that evening after things had cooled down... Hooded sphinx I took a bunch of photos of some of the interesting symbolism - most of which comes down by way of the symbols of the Egyptian Mystery Schools ; like this two-headed Masonic eagle (phoenix). The banner underneath says: DEUS MEUMQUE JUS ("God and my right.") On our walk home, we stopped by the forboding Scottish Rite Masonic Temple Ivy coverage. The conference room we were in overlooked the just-opened 9-11 Memorial. I got up early on Saturday morning and headed down to the Financial District to a free seminar I'd been invited to attend... On Tuesday night Dmitry invited me uptown to the land of glass and steel to be a guest speaker... ... and soaked up the cold, clear air and winter sun. Wandered the streets adjacent to San Ignacio's main drag.
