a thing in 15 photos statue of liberty ...and after about 45 minutes of jetskiing, we got to do a close-up drive-by of the Statue of Liberty! So neat that you can just be floating around just offshore. It's weird to think that just a few years ago no one else had a camera. Hahah. Magic hour! Here we go! ...Manhattan! Next stop... When I got back on, Mer moved up into the driver's seat! A quick picture of Mer and I in front of the statue... ...Jetty Jumpers tour guides (who complimented us on our ability to go full-throttle the entire time). Awwww, shucks. Our wonderful... The camera doesn't do these pics justice. In person, it felt like we were right on top of the Statue of Liberty. There is something totally surreal and freeing about being on the water in a little personal boat where you can just drive right up to the Statue of Liberty. It just didn't seem real. Look kids, the Statue of Liberty! ...Ellis Island!
