I love hiking a new spot with no idea what you're going to see. ...and up to the top of the mountain! Five minutes after laughing about this, a hiker passed us coming the other way on the trail telling us that a bear had been spotted by other hikers nearby! We made it to the top of the trail unmolested by nature. ...the trail started revealing beautiful views of the Hudson. Hiked up a big hill. Awesome view of Playa Colorado! See that part of the water that looks like a giant sandbar? That's sand from Panga Drop's undertow! We followed the stream down the mountain for a while. ...with a wooden foot path around it. Me and Tookie. See that lake in the background? That's the lake the Tookie's house is on! Joey Cavella is a sly, mountain man! And because the girls both thought that we're jackasses and wouldn't pose, here's mountain man Joey Cavella....again.
