On Sunday night I went out dinner with Marcos! He and some friends were in town from Barcelona. Marcos and I had emailed for years but this was the first time we'd met in person. Great to meet you! (Only took me two years to post the photo!)
And I also ran into this guy who recognized me from reading the site and came up and said hello! We laughed about the fact that this photo wouldn't actually be online for another TWO YEARS and how I would most likely forget his name by then. (Correct on both accounts!). Nice to meet you! Hope you see this and laugh!
But by far, the most exciting part of the evening (I mean, besides getting to see Jen Eva) was that I finally got to meet Eric Wormann. Eric's a guy that I started emailing with after he told me that it was this my site that inspired him to start his own epic & hilarious photo blog! He grew up a few towns away from me and kept swearing that one day he was going to make a pilgrimage down to The Barn! So I was stoked to finally get to meet him. (And I'd always like to point out that after all the shit he used to give me about not updating this site, he's since slacked off on his and is currently a year behind in posting! HA!)
This guy was super nice! He reads this site! Sorry I forgot your name! If you still bother checking my piss-poor site which I only update like 3x a year, email me and tell me your name!
The guy in the Yankees hat was her boyfriend who was moving away with her. Bye guys! Thanks for the shots! (FYI - they kicked off a serious night of drinking that ended up with me throwing up for the first time in like 10 years at 5am! Hahaha).
Afterwards, we went to Baramundi for a couple of drinks and it turns out that one of the bartenders there and her boyfriend both read this site. Read: FREE DRINKS! In a turn of incredibly bad luck though, it turns out that they were there to celebrate leaving the US and going to Australia (I think?). I told you that your pic would make it up here eventually! Hope the move went well!
Meredith, Grant, Amanda, Sarah and Devin (who we all met through this site! Devin did all the design-work for the first incarnation of the Fiasco site and as a thank you, the band flew he and his wife up to NYC to see the first show!)
The guy from Whatisee.org (who
hopefully won't get too mad that I ganked a bunch of pics
he took and reposted them on my site). Thanks for coming by! Hope
you had fun!
