On Friday after work, Ellen came over and we got our co-operative PORTAL 2 on! TIME! Go go go! ....and then stop the clock by shotgunning a beer at the finish line! ...run a 100 yard dash, run around a cone 10 times until you're dizzy, run all the way back... After you've managed to gulp that warm three fingers in a solo cup down, you've got to... Ellen's reaction to finding out that the Mystery Challenge required her to get seriously daytime-drunk. A little after 1pm, Quinn came over and then we all headed out together! Ellen couch-crashed on Friday night! We awoke to the very first sunny, spring-like day of the year. Couch-crew awaiting our delivered Thai feast! Piper supervised the eating process. On Thursday night Ellen came over for a home cooked meal (and to drop Piper off with us for a few days!) Ellen came over on Sunday afternoon and we ordered... Queen of thoughtful presents. Ellen put the mask on and was transformed into a superhero who stops crime by being adorable. We all met up at an all-raw vegetarian place called Quinntessence. On Saturday, Ellen and Meredith worked on Quinn's present in preparation for her birthday celebration later that afternoon! In other exciting news, Ellen had brought along a shirt from the very first production run her and Emily's clothing company, Ece Equestrian ! Congrats, Ellen! Post show hang. Class portrait. And we stayed up late looking at photos on my computer. Ellen gets tired waiting two years for me to post photos on this site, so sometimes when she's over she likes to get a sneak peeks into what's coming down the line (eventually). Hahah. Good times. Gurj and Ellen split a cab back to our place. All settled in for the midnight showing of Pee Wee's Big Adventure! Later that night we went over to IFC theater to see a midnight movie...but not before stopping at Duane Reade to stock up on some illicit movie treats! All bundled up and ready to head out into the cold... Later that night Gurj, Ellen, Amanda... Matt, Ellen and me. Ellen and me. Tyson is pretty much my favorite decorator. ...we went over to the West Village... On Sunday afternoon Ellen and Gurj came over... When you're walking along and you see something beautiful and shiny, don't just stand there and gawk at it... ...jump as high as you can and try to grab hold of that fucking thing! ..for game night at Siege and Katie's! Later that evening, we went out to Brooklyn... Saturday afternoon buds. Peter, Karen & Ellen. On Saturday morning Quinn & Sarah invited a bunch of people over to 3A... Good times. Here we go! Later that evening, Ellen came over to hang and this time... Ellen & Mer got al dressed up and went out to a restaurant opening in our neighborhood. On Friday night Ellen came over showing off a fancy new coat. Admiring our dog collection with hot chocolate. On Tuesday night I went to an advisory dinner for Ellen & Emily's clothing company. That's a wrap! Thanks to everyone who helped out (especially Klaus for letting us bring a horse into the hotel lobby)! Back outside for some founder photos! Hahaha. She was so excited to see us! Later that night we met up with Ellen who had just picked up her official number to run in the New York Marathon coming up in two days! Ellen came over later that night to hang (and to help eat the cupcakes!). Later that evening, Ellen came over for a hang. We fed her lots of home cooked food and then settled in for... After the shower, a bunch of us came back to our apartment... Quinn, Ellen & Sarah! En route I ran into Ellen on the street! Ellen came over and hung out after. In addition to delivering an ice cream cake to the beach, Ellen also offered us a ride home! So glad you made it! Oh, there was also a PIE in addition to the ice cream cake. Batting treat-cleanup at sunset! Thanks, Ellen! Instead of ice cream cake, we just had an Ice cream soup party! Ellen got really lost on the way to the beach and didn't show up until after 5pm.
