Later that evening, Ellen came over to hang and this time... Ellen & Mer got al dressed up and went out to a restaurant opening in our neighborhood. Admiring our dog collection with hot chocolate. That's a wrap! Thanks to everyone who helped out (especially Klaus for letting us bring a horse into the hotel lobby)! Later that night we met up with Ellen who had just picked up her official number to run in the New York Marathon coming up in two days! Ellen came over later that night to hang (and to help eat the cupcakes!). Later that evening, Ellen came over for a hang. We fed her lots of home cooked food and then settled in for... Ellen came over and hung out after. Instead of ice cream cake, we just had an Ice cream soup party! We got caught posing and our group grew. Courtyard fountain. Serious business. Class portrait. Meredith made an AMAZING mushroom risotto for dinner. Later that afternoon, we took all the dogs over to the park and there was a special surprise waiting there for Maddy... On Saturday we were dogsitting Amber's dog, Charlie. Ellen came over to add Piper to the dog mix. On Saturday we finally felt settled into our new place enough to invite people over for a little Saturday night boardgame get-together. Ellen , Piper and Mer. Here, add spices! A whole bunch of us met up at Matt's apartment to sing happy birthday to Ellen and have some cake before heading crosstown to the Upright Citizen's Brigade Theater to see a show. Make a wish Ellen!
