On Saturday afternoon I went out to Rockaway Beach to celebrate Amanda's birthday! Around five we head to head back so I could return the Zipcar. Thanks for playing hooky with me to be my birthday beach buddy, Jane Anne! Amanda, Leigh & Kim all have the same birthday! We chose an isolated location away from any other groups and set up camp! Look how much distance we had between us in either direction! A little after 5pm, we decided to pack it in (wanted to make sure I had time for a nap before my birthday party!). Getting ready to make a run for it! The weather held, but about 90 minutes later, thing got DRAMATIC!
