That evening, our parents watched Max and Brett & Amy went out for a much needed kid-free meal. Took Max and the dogs out for a long walk around the neighborhood. Brett played some guitar. Max checking out new toys. Maddy got a new chew toy! Max had just turned 3.. Max woke me up at 7:30 so he could open presents! Came downstairs to find Amy hard at work making Monkeybread! Yes! Later that afternoon, I took Brett to a music store and bought him a guitar for Christmas! He'd been wanting to learn for a while. Learning that first Amaj chord! I was trying to make it down to Asheville, NC to meet up with Quinn and some friends before it got too late, so I packed up and said farewell around 5:30. Minnie Mouse and Curious George! In the afternoon, Amy got Max into his costume for his Halloween birthday party! Spent the afternoon hanging out in the backyard. Parents of the birthday boy! Happy August 2015! Rolling.
