the april roundup: part two
Here are the rest of the pics I took in April of 2007!
Sunday, April 22nd
Yay, springtime! Sunday was gorgeous so I biked up to Central Park to meet a whole bunch of people for a picnic in the Sheep Meadow!
Someone brought one of the tubes of rubber that you can use to make homemade balloons! Least-fun toy ever! Gurj and I had pretty much given up on actually being able to make a balloon with it...
...until Jenny showed us how it's done! (PS - Look at how she's masterfully cradling it at the bottom! How'd you get so good at cradling balls like that, Jenny?)
Eva and me.
Karen the Pringle-billed duck!
The day was perfect. We pretty much just sat around stuffing our faces with snacks and enjoying the sun and occasionally stopping to mock people near us. Like the girl in the background that decided to use her boyfriend as a bench. WTF?
And this tough-guy in the background that decided to do a set of 10 "public pushups!" every fifteen minutes or so.
I know your eyes are going right to Karen's awesome juggs, but after you're done checking them out, make sure to direct your attention to the upper-left portion of the photo where Gurj is tickling some lady's dingus.
Jenny licks the left buttock while Gurj outs herself as a foot-licker!
I didn't want Karen's juggs to get all of the attention so I made sure to snap lots of pics when Jenny started lotioning-up her own ladies!
HOLLA!
I forget this girl's name! But she was really nice and I had a lil' crush on her!
Gurj and Karen.
Me and my new pink shoes watched tv and took it easy the rest of the night.
Monday, April 23rd
On Monday night I went out in the LES and ran into Ben Cho...
...and Xiomara!
On the way home Leigh (who looks like Mr. Burns in the photo) walked by Meredith's old, tiny studio apartment on Orchard Street (where she graciously put me up while I was traveling on and off a few years back).
154 Orchard got a new (blinging!) door!
Late.
Tuesday, April 24th
I came out of our apartment on Tuesday morning and it was like "Whoa, spring is here." Check out the blooming trees on our block!
Ratses doing some butt-touchin.
Wednesday, April 25th
On Wednesday night I went over to 2nd on 2nd from some karaoke. I walked in right in the middle of Ellen doing her signature performance of Metallica's Enter Sandman.
Hahaha.
Amanda and me.
Rocking out during the musical break.
Ellen is the only girl I know who a) Sings Metallica and b) doesn't need to look at the prompter for the words.
Mer and Amanda.
After karaoke, Amanda came over to play Guitar Hero (probably so she'd no longer have to listen to me say "DUDE! You HAVE to try it, it's so much fun!!!"). Here's Meerkat and Squinty, browsing and rocking respectively.
Hahahahaha.
Friday, April 27th
On Friday night a bunch of us went to Dinosaur BBQ up in Harlem for Vin's birthday! Here's the birthday boy and Aya!
Birthday cake!
Happy Birthday, Vin! I love you!
Under the el walking back to Josh's car.
Senior Josh was kind enough to offer to drive us all home.
Kent was sleepy from too many ribs and took a lil' nappy-nap on the way home.
Same goes for Dave except that he's a lighter sleeper and woke up when I leaned in for this photo.
While I'm out partying and acting like an idiot, Meredith prefers to stay home and do crafts. Whenever I come home, I always walk through the door thinking "I wonder what the heck she's up to tonight?" Well, this time when I got home I found Meredith in the kitchen cutting out different types of fabric and making FAKE EYEBROWS. (???!) Oooooooo-kay! The only thing funnier than this photo...
...is this photo! She was using some sort of glue that certain wasn't designed to affix fabric to HUMAN SKIN and when she pulled off the eyebrows, there were all these little tufts of red "fur" still glued to her forehead. Hi, my girlfriend is a crazy-person.
Saturday, April 28th
On Saturday night Posh Tony came over. We ate pizza...
...and then played Guitar Hero!
Or at least he tried to play Guitar Hero. Antony joins Brandon in the "I'm a real guitar player who can't, for the life of me, figure out how to play a fake guitar that only has five buttons" Hall of Shame.
Tired of being mocked, Posh figured that the only way he'd be able to show me up was on a real guitar.
Around 1am, we headed over to Apt 3a. Here's Matt getting fresh with Gurj's knee while Posh pulls out a JC Penny-catalog coldlamp. Fierce!
We went up onto the roof to enjoy the weather and the views. Downtown.
Then, there was some fashion modelin' going on! Here's the Jubes with two left feet!
Hahaha.
I love pipe!
The uptown view.
Around 2:30am, we headed back downstairs. Check out Monkey in the background looking like she needs some lovin'
Is there anything better than sweet, sweet Monkey-love?
Around 3am, we decided it was time to venture out into the wild in search of SNACKS! Elevator photo attempt #1: FAIL! (I cut off Matt's head).
Elevator photo attempt #2: SUCCESS! I managed to cut Posh Tony mostly out of the photo!
We ended up buying a tub of chocolate-covered pretzels and eating the whole thing on the street. Look how happy Posh Tony is! Hahahah.
Sunday, April 29th
Walking around the neighborhood on Sunday afternoon, I noticed that they'd recently painted the building on the corner of Ave B and 4th St to look like this! Awesome!
Hung out at the apartment. Played with the rats and watched them bite and fight. Here's an action shot of Bad One attacking Good One.
Good One: "You just watched and let that happen? WTF?"
On Sunday night we went uptown to Max's apartment for Couples Dinner Party and Cranium Night! It was Leigh and Max...
...versus Scott and his boyfriend (at the time. I forgot his name. Sorry!)...versus Meredith and I!
About halfway through the game, someone noticed that all six of us were dating someone who looked a lot like them. Which meant Cranium was temporarily put on hold for a new game: The "I Look Most Like the Person I'm Banging" Game! Third Place: Scott and his boyfriend!
Second Place: Leigh and Max. (Bonus points for their matching crystal pendants!)
First Place: Doh! (At least she doesn't have a big ol' nose like me).
Team Scott reading a question out loud...
...to Leigh and Max.
"Move your teammate's arms and legs like a puppet and have them act out the clue. The puppet can help guess the answer." Cranium = The Best Game Ever.
