I hate
New Year's Eve. Seriously, it's like my least favorite holiday.
It always gets all bigged up and then you always end up being disappointed
- so I find it's best to not make plans and just take it as it comes.
The only
redeeming thing about New Year's Eve is that it also happens to be David
Forman's birthday. Shane and I took the man himself out for a celebratory
dinner at Blue Ribbon in Soho.
Shane poses with his delicious sea urchin appetizer.
Shane and the David.
Me coldlamping with the birthday boy.
After dinner, David and I hopped the L train and headed DEEP into Brooklyn
to attend Pierre's party - shown here posing with Vinay.

David and me.

Natalie, Vinay and David. (Sorry if these pics are boring - when we
got to the party, there really weren't many people there so we busies
ourselves by being stupid and taking lots of pics).
See? Stupid.
And then Vinay started the party both right and quickly by busting out
some of his old breakdancing moves

Hahahahaha! The only thing funnier than Vin's "robot face"
in this pic is the girl in the background covering her mouth and laughing
at him.
BWA-HA-HAHAHAHA! David Forman bringing his own robot flavor outta the
eighties closet in a big way.

Marco and Vin.

Me and three girls that I've never seen before in my life. (This was
right when the ball dropped). Happy New Year, you, um, strangers!
This is Monica. She was in town from Miami visiting some friends and
pretty much refused to give me the time of day. That is until I started
using my recently acquired basis Spanish skills to woo her. My acute
party observations, "Mira! Los hombres estan bailando y las mujures
estan cantando!" (translation: "Look! The men, they are dancing!
And the women, they are singing!) impressed her to no end and the next
thing you know...

.BOO-YAH! The time of day is given!
The party in Brooklyn was winding down and some friend's of Monica's
were in town from Miami DJing at a club in Chinatown. So we hopped a
cab, got to the club at around 2:30, and ended up dancing until morning
when they kicked us out at like 10:30am. Happy New Year! [added
