kara saks gets married june 30, 2002
Jesus, I don't even know what to write up here for my clever little summary. Kara Saks, whom I've known since 7th grade, and who was my dancing partner in high school, got married. Holy cuh-rap.

A few days before the wedding, Kara and company came into Manhattan and we all met up for a nice italian meal over in Greenwich Village.
That's Amy Saks on the right (I forget both your names...doh. Email me if you can identify either of these crackers, kay?)
Same thing here, that's Amy Albano on the left, but the other two? Doh! (Actually the dude in the photo's our waiter, so I guess it's no big deal that I don't remember him...but the girl in the red dress? Ann-something? Crap, I'm a bad person).
Aha! I know all three names here! Kara, the bride to be, Little Brother Billy (who to this day insists it wasn't him that I saw on the MTV special I saw about "Real World Appliacant Rejects") and Amy Albano.
Kara and I.
Ok, I'm calling an official time out - before we move ahead to Kara's actual wedding day, I'd like to point out that while I was in back in my hometown I went over to my friend Scott's house to visit with him and his wife....and their TWO KIDS! He has two kids. Yep. Actual kids. Check it out:.
See? Look, two of them!
Here's Liam. (He looks just like Scott, um, except with hair.)

And this little sweetpea is Abbey Rose...luckily, she's looking less and less like Scott everyday.
Okay, fast forward a few days to Saturday and we're actually in the church in Wharton, NJ. (Actually, this is the same church I ended up having to go to for Abbey's Christening).

The church after the ceremony.
Ladies and Gentlemen, Mr. & Mrs. Thomas Racjk (sp?).
The first dance (at Sparta Lake).
Billy sang a song with the band...
Then I went up and sang "It Had To Be You."
After all the singing, Billy and Amy cleared the dancefloor to perform a synchronized dance routine they'd been working on.
Which turned out to be the "Ross & Monica Geller" dance routine from "Friends."
Hahahah! So funny!
Beth and I.
Kara and Amy.
Right at the end of the night, after bugging the crap out of her, we finally convinced Kara (who has the voice of an angel) to go up and sing a ditty with the band. (And I can't remember what she sang either...See? This is why I've gotta be better about keeping on top of this diary shit! I end up forgetting all the details).
Bonus points for capturing Mr. Saks in the foreground of this shot. Schweet!
