Because we recently found out that Monday is the new Thursday (didn't
you know?), Grant, John Roche and myself decided to kick it Greenpoint-style
at Enid's Monday Night Karaoke.
"You gotta 'nother thing coming!" (Grant, me, John).
Wait, what?
Me singing Billy Idol's 'Dancing With Myself' (check out Lola rocking
out in the background. Schweet.)
Karaoke Groupie Slutz! (The one in the red even has a "backstage
pass" on?)
Remeber the Muppets? Well it turns out that one of the old guys
who used to sit up in the balcony came to life and he hangs out at Enid's
on Monday nights. He was so sad (after my rendition of Billy) that Grant
decided he was going to cheer him up with the gift....of a song.

Muppet Man had no idea there was ROKK behind him!

Here's where the pictures of John singing his song should be...but
he chickened out.

Grant takes his final swig of High Life (in a bottle...because we've
got class!) and prepares to rokk the fuck out.
For anyone who doesn't know, Grant is hands down one of the best karaoke
performers I have ever seen. He choose to sing "You Should Be Dancin'"
by the BeeGees (and he sang that shit higher than any BeeGee would've
dreamed of singing it).

"Can you feel it, baby? Yeah, I can too"
Beyond his superb vox skillz, he also wowed the audience with some "moves"
during the "instrumental break" portion of the song.
Even Old Muppet Guy couldn't help but get caught up in the moment.
He was shaking his rump in his seat and clapping along to the beat!
Grant ended the song by turning his back on the monitor and going
buckwild, falsetto-scat style. Holy Shit!
Here's the audience (or what's left of them at well-past 2am) giving
Grant a standing ovation upon the completion of his song. They totally
went apeshit.
After Enid's we went over to Blue Lounge where we ran into (who
else but) the Tweedles!
Then closing the night out at The Abbey, we ran into one of Nina's
friends, Easter Island Head! Yay!
