Rachael and I were despondent: it was December 23rd and yet it still didn't fell like Christmas. So we decided that we were going to try to do some Christmassey type things to get in that "Holiday Mood." We considered driving down to see the Christmas Lights that they put up every year at the Garden State Art Center...but the fact that we'd have to drive 45 minutes plus the fact that we'd have to pay $20 (and the fact that we're both lazy bastards) made us reconsider.
Sunday, December 23rd

...and then before we left took this totally amazing picture of Rachael riding a light-up, wicker reindeer on the lawn of her parent's very own ridiculously decorated house, and then we decided to drive two towns over to Rockaway, NJ to try to find the legendary house owned by crazy people who go completely overboard decorating their house ever year! tags:rachael

The backyard was insane. The blue lights on the right were this moving, flowing water fall that was like four storeys tall. tags:christmas lights
