These photos are all mixed up and out of order, but they all come from
my last several months of college (*sniff*sniff). If I can find the time,
I'll throw in some clever captions later! Lucky you!
This is Roxbert Saxon, Copywriter. He taught my Copywriting class senior
year. This picture was taken at a party at his house. He was one of my
coolest teachers. Robert Saxon, Copywriter rocks.
Two of Syracuse's finest dj's mattymatt and Vern. (Taken at one of the
last parties we ever had).
111 Redfield Place represent, boyeeee. (from left to right:) Me, David
"I Don't Need No Bat" Graham, and Andrew "Uberstar" Dzija.
These next few photos are from when we were in the studio recording our
wellspring demo. Here we see super emo-core Josh Tiexiera acting
tough.
Sketchy Jay on the skins.
Josh, Matt Walker and Ian sitting at the mixing board. It was near the
end of the school year and the only time we could book studio hours was
in the middle of the night. So our recording sessions would go from 12am
til 8am. Everyone in this picture is suffering serious sleep deprivation.
Block Party '99 baby!!!! Woohoo! Syracuse police dept. blockade off the
streets and people walk around and get silly. I was up on the porch in
the dj booth and this fight broke out so we all started snapping pictures.
Some ska band playing on our friend's porch.
Ian and his former biddie work it on out in a beer fight.
These next few pix are all from graduation. mattymatt and i.
Here's a picture of Big Bri working it on "Biddie Patrol." Word to your
mother.
Eric "I'm More Drunk Right Now Than Anyone You've Ever Known In Your Life"
Freid represents on the delinquent tip by throwing a police barricade
in a alcohol-induced frenzy.
Nothing in the world will make a man hungrier than throwing around police
barricades. After a strenuous workout, Freid decides it's time to fire
up the grill. (Drunk College Student + Can of Lighter Fluid = Great Photo
Opportunity)
At block party somehow it became cool for everyone to lay down and trace
their outlines in chalk. Here's party guy Dennis Crowley lying on the
pavement.
Here's my Advertising Campaigns class, with our professor Beth "Dip
Me In Chocolate" Barnes (don't ask, you don't want to know) getting
shitty doing shots at Darwin's after our final. (Which was the last
final I had to take in order to graduate.)
Another class photo. (most of these people suck. but let's just keep
that a secret between you and I.)
Me at graduation with Rosanna Grassi, Dean of Students! She's the best.
Carla Lloyd and I at graduation. Another one of my favorite professors.
A historical moment! Robert Saxon, Copywriter presents my former roommate
Dzija with the Newhouse Advertising "Gold Track" creative award. Mad
props to Dzij, yo.
It's the Dzij again! Cutting up records in our old house. (Note the
"He Got Game" hat given to him by our other roommate David. How jealous
are you?!?)
Look at this fucking character. This is my new roommate Stupid Newman.
He moved to Connecticut with me right after graduation to work at Modem
Media. These two pictures pretty much define Newman. In this first one,
he didn't realize I was taking a photo in time enough to flex...
...but as soon as he realized I was going to take a second photo, he
starts the flex. I fucking hate this kid (not really).
